The Brodhead Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that Covered Bridge Days is returning August 13-15 with free concerts downtown on Friday & Saturday evening. The free concerts, proudly presented by the Bank of Brodhead & Madison Partners, showcase two of the Midwest’s most popular bands—Sojourn Rocs & Madison County.
Sojourn Rocs will take the Stoughton Trailers Stage on Friday August 13 beginning at 7:30pm. They are a classic rock-n-roll & country band that plays hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s & 90s through today. On Saturday August 14, Madison County will take the stage at 7:30pm. They are a 7-piece country show band, based out of Madison, WI, that has evolved its high-energy engaging show over the years to stay fresh & unique. They have been voted Local Group of the Year nine years in a row at the Q106 Madison Country Music Awards, Favorite Local Group at the 96.3 Star Country Awards, Country Artist of the Year at the Madison Area Music Association Awards, People’s Choice Award Winner for 6 years at the Wisconsin Area Music Industry Awards, Isthmus Readers Favorite Local Country Band & Madison Magazine’s BEST Local Band & Country Band, 5 years running.
