Join us at The Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin on Saturday, October 31st for a spooky day of kid and dog-friendly fun! This event is FREE but we suggest a $5 donation. Start your Halloween afternoon with some trick-or-trunk style trick-or-treating around the shelter’s parking lot. HSSW staff and volunteers will have their trunks decorated for the holiday and treats will be available for children and canine alike! The public is welcome to decorate their trunks as well!* We ask that only trick-or-trunk participants park in the shelter’s lot during the event. *If you would like to have your vehicle included in the trick-or-trunk route, please fill out the sign up form on our website by Friday, October 23rd and arrive at the shelter on the day of the event by 11:30am.* Don’t forget to stop by our Spooky Snacks and Raffle Basket table!

In it to win it? Participate in our Lick or Treat Pet & Pals Costume Contest! Contest entries can include a single pet or group of pets in costume, a single human or group of humans in costume, or a combo entry of dogs and humans in costume! You must be registered for the Pets & Pals Costume Contest by 2pm and can do so at the event starting at noon. A panel of judges will pick their favorite contest entry and the winner will be announced at 2:30pm. Winners will receive a basket of goodies for you and your pet!
