2024 BIG RADIO “GREAT OUTDOORS PROMOTION” OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
These are the rules governing the Great Outdoors promotion on the following Big Radio stations: 105.9 The Hog and 101.9 Iron Country. This contest runs from September 9 – October 11, 2024.
- There is no purchase necessary to become eligible to win. Must be 21 or over.
- In order to win, each contestant must completely fill out an official entry form clearly stating their name, address, age and phone number. Entry forms are available at participating sponsor locations. Incomplete or illegible entries will be considered null and void. Registration dates are September 9 – October 3, 2024.
- Seventy five (75) qualifiers will be chosen on or before October 7, 2024. The qualifiers will be invited to attend the party on October 11th, 2024 at the Hog Cabin Saloon, and will be the only attendees eligible for the prize drawings.
- Winners will be randomly drawn from all qualifiers’ completed entries to receive one of five available prizes. All winners will be announced on-site at The Hog Cabin on Friday, October 11th, 2024, at approximately 8pm. Winners must be present and registered no later than 6:30 pm to win.
- Prizes to be awarded as listed below and are subject to change. Radio Station talent will determine the order of the awarding of each prize before drawing the winning entry for that prize.

- Guided Hunt with Don Rich, which includes lodging at Superior Wildlife Adventure in Michigan
- Bait Box on the Rock- Daiwa Kage rod plus $50 gift certificate

- Maximum of one entry per person per day during the promotion registration dates. If the maximum number of entries per person (26) is determined to have been exceeded at any point, all entries for that specific person will be deemed null and void and any prizes awarded may be recalled by the stations.
- Employees of Big Radio, contest sponsors and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter to win. Immediate family includes the spouse, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, and grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
- This contest is open to all eligible U.S. residents 21 and over within a 100-mile radius of the Big Radio broadcast facilities. Contestants must possess a valid photo I.D. or other means of I.D. acceptable to Big Radio. Big Radio reserves the right to disqualify any winner if the contest rules have been violated in any way. Contest void where prohibited.
- Big Radio shall have no responsibility or liability for any circumstance related to the entry, claim or use of prizes by any party. Upon entering, contestant agrees to relinquish any right to legal or other action in any way associated with participating in the contest.
- All prize winners are responsible for all taxes on prizes awarded. In the event of prizes valued over $600, Big Radio or its sponsors may send a 1099 form notifying the IRS of your winnings. Prize winners must complete the appropriate tax forms at the Big Radio studios if requested, and provide a valid photo ID before receiving the prize.
- Big Radio reserves the right to use audio, video, photo or any other representatives of contestants, winners and event participants for promotional and broadcast purposes without further compensation.
- Prizes awarded are not subject to any request for substitution, are not transferrable and may not be redeemed for or converted to cash or other payments.
- In the event the winner is subject to or the subject of any order or legal process issued by any governmental agency having jurisdiction over the affairs of the winner (i.e. garnishment, child support order, judgment, lien, and the like), Big Radio’s delivery of the prize to the official representative of the governmental entity claiming a right to the prize shall be thus deemed as Big Radio awarding the prize to the winner. Big Radio shall be entitled to rely in good faith, upon any documents presented by the representative seeking to collect the prize in lieu of the winner. Big Radio shall not be liable for any claim by any winner for damages incidental thereto.
- Big Radio shall have no responsibility for contestant’s inability or failure to participate, failure to win or claim any prize based on malfunction or difficulties with telephone, cell phone, texting, email, or internet access, or any other circumstances in any contest beyond Big Radio’s control.
