Monroe County Sheriff’s authorities say a Janesville man is arrested in a bank robbery Tuesday in Bloomington, Minnesota.

The sheriff’s office says they arrested 51-year-old Cory M. Billstrom of Janesville outside a house near the village of Wilton, Wisconsin on Tuesday.

That was after they’d gotten a call from Bloomington police that Billstrom had robbed a Bloomington bank and was thought to have gone to Wilton.

Wilton’s a two-hour drive from Bloomington, which is a Minneapolis suburb. Police have not given details about the robbery.

Billstrom will be extradited to Minnesota on charges pending in the bank robbery. He’s being held now in Monroe County jail.
