This event is a joint venture of five area Lion’s Club organizations including Cottage Grove, Deerfield, Marshall, Sun Prairie and Stoughton.
We are again raising money for the Miracle League of Dane County and our goal is to raise over $30,000. Last year our event raised over $26,000.
The Miracle League of Dane County has built an inclusive baseball field for children with physical and/or cognitive disabilities. The field is in Cottage Grove at Bakken Park. Opening Day was June of 2021. Ninety-six children participated that year. Over 300 children participated in 2024 from seven counties including Dane, Jefferson, Waukesha and Rock County. The money raised will be used for field maintenance.
