he City of Janesville Recreation Division is excited to welcome the community to Optimist Park (4201 Ruger Ave.) for another edition of Movies in the Park!

On Friday, July 19, the free program will screen the hit animated movie Trolls: Band Together at dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.). Attendees are asked to bring their own blankets or lawn chairs. Pre-movie barrel rides will be available in the park, beginning at 7 p.m. Concessions will also be available for purchase.

All movies shown are rated PG or lower. In the event of inclement weather, movies will not be rescheduled.

Per City Ordinance, no liquor, beer, smoking, or vaping is allowed in City parks. City Ordinance also prohibits pets in any public park from May 15 to September 15. The City of Janesville thanks its local Optimist Clubs for co-sponsoring this program.
