SMILES is a small nonprofit that provides therapeutic horseback riding to children and adults with special needs. I wanted to reach out because we are gearing up for a major fundraiser The Mane Event Golf Outing. The Mane Event Golf Outing is the annual event that brings together golf enthusiasts and supporters of our cause for a day of friendly competition, camaraderie, and giving back to the community. This event is our largest event of the year that raises the most money to continue our mission. We believe that everyone, regardless of ability, deserves the opportunity to experience the joy and therapeutic benefits of interacting with horses. SMILES transcends traditional therapeutic methods by offering individuals with special needs, of all ages, the joy of participating in an equine assisted program which provides social, emotional, physical, and personal rewards.
