Tell us about yourself:

Hello! I am Carson, a 22 year old from Janesville. I have gone to school in town and lived here my entire life. I enjoy watching and playing sports, and also going to concerts in the summertime. I am an avid Bears (I know), Cubs, Bucks, and Badger fan. I have been with Big Radio/Iron Country for 2 years now.

Why did you go into radio?

Well, I took 2 gap years after High School before College. I was working full time as a delivery driver, always listening to the radio on my routes and it quickly became something I was super passionate about. I saw a part time opening on Facebook for a board operator and jumped on it, and here I am!

What do you enjoy doing outside of radio?

Playing golf (I suck), going to concerts and sporting events, and hanging out with my family. So pretty much I like to spend money. .

Who are your favorite country artists?

Jason Aldean is #1 for me. Some others include Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney, Brooks & Dunn, and I also enjoy the newer stuff as well like Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, and Dierks Bentley.

What Artist do you wish you could see in concert Past or Present?

Oh man. Being a youngster it has to be a rock band, since so many of them are not with us anymore. I could name a million but I’ll keep it to 2. Alice and Chains or *prime* David Lee Roth with Van Halen.

What would your last meal be and what would you wash it down with?

I’m hungry right now typing this so this is tough. I’m gonna go with a nice Hibachi and Sushi dinner cooked in front of me. I’m washing it down with one of those Japanese soda thingies that are so hard to open.

When they make the movie of your life, who plays you?

Hmmmm. This is tough. I’ll go with Will Ferrell because I think im funny and I like to always have a good time.

What’s your favorite radio memory?

Plenty more to come, but as of right now I’d have to say the Rock County fair 2025. I got to meet Cooper Alan and he made a cool video for my mom who couldn’t be there. Then later on I got to introduce him on stage.

Do you have a message for the Iron Country Family?

Glad to be here. While I’m not always on the air, I consider this a very tight knit family that I am happy to be a part of. Hopefully I will get to meet you at some point at one of our many events throughout the year. Thanks for having me!
