Officials with the Rock County Children’s Museum will have to find another way to make up $500,000 after the Rock County Board of Supervisors vote down funding for the project.

The resolution needed 18 votes to pass. The vote was 8 to 16.

The resolution would have re-allocated ARPA funding from the Small Business Grant Fund.

The County Board DID pass an amended resolution that originally would have limited diversity, equity and inclusion training. The resolution that passed 23-2 stated that the county strives to ensure equal opportunities for all people.

Another resolution that would have added more oversight at Rock Haven Nursing home was tabled indefinitely.
