On Thursday, September 5, the Janesville Fire Department, in partnership with the Red Cross, will install free smoke alarms in any residence or apartment within the City of Janesville.

Residents interested in the free smoke alarms must sign up by calling the JFD at (608) 755-3056 or by filling out the smoke alarm request form on the Wisconsin Red Cross’ website.
